Lost World of Warcraft was started when its creator, Adam, began to hear rumors about hidden areas within World of Warcraft; Areas that you could get banned for entering. Adam realized that there is a ever-so-small probability that he might not find the lost continent of Atlantis under two miles of ice in Antarctica, so he decided to instead focus on searching for clues to the lost World of Warcraft areas.
He soon discovered that people were so scared of getting their account banned, that it was difficult to track down a complete story about these lost areas. Adam decided to catalogue the information he found, and thus, lostwow.com was born.
Lost World of Warcraft is dedicated to Wow's history, changes, closed areas, abandoned quests, abandoned features, unintentional side-effects and the rarest of items. Whether it is the closed area under Ironforge, the mysterious purpose of the syndicate marks, the closed land of Hyjal, Player Housing , Newman's Landing, the Ashbringer Sword or tools to help you in your own discovery, Lostwow.com is your one stop location for World of Warcraft exploration.
Please be aware that lostwow.com is not about helping you discover lost areas in the game. We want to show you these areas and long lost features because we think that you will find them as fascinating as we do. Since Azeroth is a constantly changing land (that many of us dedicate a great deal of time to), if we don't document its history it could very well be lost forever.
Know that if you choose to ignore our warning
your account can and will be banned. Being in off-limits areas is
very much a violation of the
WOW T.O.S. We are absolutely not responsible if your account is banned for any reason.
If you have any questions, suggestions, comments or concerns, please feel free to post them on the
Forums or send an email to us using the
Feedback form.
Thank you and Enjoy!
Lost World of Warcraft Staff.
