Anyway, Lets get something understood here, before I annoy myself further ( I hate the myths about The Islands. >< ) GM Island is far to the west of Teldrassil, Programmer/Dev Island ( Development land ) Is instanced. Though there may be an instanced version of GM Island, It is still there.

I was playing on the beta server today, and over the World Defence channel it "GM Island is under attack!" So this means that 1) there is a GM Island, 2) its considered Alliance teritory. I then talked to someone else, and he said a guildie was there, he asked him how and said person replied that he could not disclose that information. But, It is inaccessable by normal means of travel So so far all i have is that its somewhere in the middle of the ocean and we can't get to it! I posted something like this on blizzard forums and poof, its gone.

Game Master Island, not to be confused with programmer or Designer island, is now an instanced island where WOW gamemasters can (presumably) hang-out. The island contains a large "guild style" house and portals to different areas of the world.
