Video Links

The following video shows an in-game character reaching the summit of Mt. Ironforge. We will soon be adding a section to post "summit routes", including credit for first-ascents, but until then please let us know if you have any videos of the summit that you would like to share.

George Mallory's famous quote when asked why he wished to Climb Mt. Everest.

Purpose

In the mountainous terrain Blizzard created it was inevitable that one peak would be taller than the rest. The decorations at the top of the mountain mark the territory for those that fly over and those lucky adventurers that discover a route to the summit

Mount Ironforge

The highest peak in all of Azeroth, Mount Ironforge is marked by a single dwarven flag. The city of Ironforge is built within the caverns, the Ironforge Airstrip lies on its eastern slopes, and their are several troll caves dotting the mountain sides..
