Hey everyone.
I'm new to posting here, although i have been reading these forums for some time, so go easy on my first post.
On one of my exploration type trips around azeroth, i stumbled into the waterfalls above stormwind (which you see on the gryphon ride from SW to IF). Out of curiosity, i begin to take a look around and soon discover a camp. This camp consisted of a tent on the banks of the lake, a beached raft and a bottle which appeared to once house alcohol. In the water right next to this camp was the swirling circle of water of a school of fish. Now, I have 300 fishing and had a +75 lure attached and all i could pull out of this school was Peacebloom, a herb. What the...?
Above the waterfalls and lake sits a lone house, completely inaccessable from the lake or anywhere a player can get. Could this house belong to Nat Pagle? Could the camp be that of his last fishing expedition? The booze container seems to point towards him, and the ever present school of fish (which DOESN'T despawn) right infront of it hints stronly at a fisherman's camp.
Do you suppose that perhaps this is where he may have found a clue to the where abouts of the Ashbringer? Or even if a clue of it's whereabouts may be found nearby?
Sadly, I did not find anything about the Ashbringer, but as this was done in 1.10, and the Ashbringer isn't meant to be implemented until 1.11, it is possible that this area may yet hold some information which is yet to be implemented.
Elwyn Falls is another well-developed area not accessible to most players yet visible from the flight path. While the area may just be more decoration for riders, there are rumors linking the cabin above the falls to Nat Pagle, who was lost on his last fishing expedition and whose life is linked to the mysterious "Ashbringer" legendary sword. There is a school of fish that never despawns by one of the camps below the falls...
